i would have to say my faves are sour plum brown rice sweets and onigiris with sour plums in the back....yummm...

I do enjoy my share of pocky, but my favourite kind of Japanese candy would have to be "Watapachi" - it's essentially fairyfloss (I'm from Australia - I believe Americans know it as cotton candy?) laced with poprocks! Now, if that's not the most genious combination in the world I don't know what is. Everybody get down to your local asian grocer and try the grape flavour, NOW!

Darn it, now I'm craving the stuff myself.

ahh.. yes i've tried it but i didnt know what it was called at that time.. lolz. XD
its really delicious, the fried oysters fill your hungry stomach while the icecream soothes your throat.. a very unique but intelligent combination of tastes indeed ^^
