i'm one of those that has it rarely, either when my japanese friends make it for me. or when my brother takes me to some fancy japanese restaurant in london...
MMM, sorry to hear about your bad experience. but if you're ever in london again. let me know. i'll give you some addresses to some great sushi bars/restaurants.

Whenever I feel like, which is basically once or twice a week. Not everything is really good, but I have found some stuff I love, and I eat only that.

I eat sushi everyday

I eat sushi... I'll say at least once a month, sometims twice, it depends if my family's in the mood to eat Japanese food, but if it was only for me, I'd eat some everyday! My favorite are made out of crab, and I like tuna as well as shrimps and salmon... in fact, I think I like every sushi, except with that rubber-like piece of seafood... like a little octopus... I can't seem to remember the name...

I probably have it at least once or twice a month. There are alot of sushi places around here. My favorite being a place called Tuna Town, owned by David Silveria, drummer from the band Korn. Best thing is on Tusday nights locals get 30% off. Cant beat that.
I eat more if I have been out fishing for yellowtail or albacore tuna. Some of my friends make longer trips and will bring back some yellowfin tuna (ahi) and kick down a few filets. Best part is catching the fish, then having the cook on the boat slice some up right there. Add some soy sauce, wasabi, and its heaven. Dont get much fresher than that.
