Why do non-Japanese have issues with sushi? - 03-10-2007, 08:59 PM

Why do so many non-Japanese (at least Americans) have problems with sushi? For some reason I get a feeling that it's beyond the fact that sushi is raw. I don't know why. This may sound like a stupid question, but I just wanted to hear some thoughts.

Still, it's not like they're eating fish guts. These same people eat eggs, which come out of a chicken's reproductive system.

Just curious, but isn't fish a major food in Japan? Finding a Japanese person who doesn't eat sushi seems slim.

I am in love with sushi...but my friends don't like it....I guess the thought of eating something raw bothers them....
