rice and fish... - 07-04-2007, 12:11 AM

Does anyone think I'll be able to eat anything if I go to japan? because I don't like rice or fish and other things? I'm kinda picky I guess!

You might not like those plain or together, but I'm sure there has to be something that will taste better with something else. For example, I don't like fish, but I like sushi/sashimi. So maybe if you try it different ways, you'll find something good.

I know people who like onigiri with the plum in it but don't like rice, and those who don't like fish who like sushi.

Got to make things less of a waste of space somehow.

How can you not like rice?

I find that eating stuff eventhough you dont like it in small portions helps overcoming that problem. It's important that you try to force yourself over the boundaries else you'll be stuck eating chicken or something the rest of your life. Aside from that, on my holiday one of my friends only could eat chicken. That resulted in visiting the Subway, Starbucks and Macdonalds foodchains a lot, but he did eat, so it's not an entirely lost cause!
