It's not even a close contest for me... Hakata style, called Tonkotsu in your poll, is the best. White, pork and garlic-flavored broth with sliced pork and onions and straw mushrooms on top.
You know, I was traveling through western Japan in the winter of 1996, and I purposely timed it so that I arrived in Hakata/Fukuoka on Christmas day, so that I could have real Hakata ramen from a street stand in Hakata for my Christmas dinner. It was sooo goood! |

Instant ramen can make you fat.
And it can make you lose hair faster So it should only be eaten in moderate amounts. ^^ Next time, i go to the Cash and carry, i'll remember to take photos of different ramens available. I totally prefer udon "I'm sorry, but i must have given you the impression that I actually care about your opinions"

I've only ever had the regular Ramen that is available in all grocery stores. I dress it up and add meat, egg, mushrooms, carrots and green onions, but it's still regular Ramen.
I've never had the original Japanese style Ramen, so I can't choose a favorite. Peace Love Recycle |

Well have you ever had like the store bought チャルメラ = charumela, Sapporo Ichiban, or Nissin. They come in a 5 pack and are able to be found at asian markets. Try like a shoyu = soy sauce, miso, tonkotsu, and shio = salt, those brands are pretty good and tells us which you like the best.
