In France, there are many famous foods, like:

-Gratin dauphinois (a dish with potatoes, cheese and cream)
-Ratatouille (all the vegetables of the south, tomatoes, courgettes, bell pepper, aubergines, olive oil)
-Cassoulet (a dish with kidney beans, sausage, duck meat,...)
-Foie gras (it's the liver of duck or goose which have been fattened)
-Escargots (Snails with garlic and parsley)
-Cuisses de grenouilles (Legs of frog)

The lasts are very special, personally I don't like!

And from My Mexico, the foods are menudo, tacos, frijoles refritos, arroz, caldo de res, carne guisada..too many to name
Which reminds me, I once met a Japanese tourist here in my hometown and he said that most Americans eat steak and potatoes..I told him, ..THat is what most white Americans eat..I am MExican and I hate steak and potatoes!

Hmm, England has to be most famous for it's Full English(fried) breakfast and for it's Fish and Chip shops. And for its crazy high rate of heart attacks.
