US - The doggies and the burgers. ):
Both hardly please me. As for my town....x__x
Well we have about six pizza joints and at least three
Italian restaurants. Kekek....all three are far too pricey
for me. I guess my town is known for their pricey, often
greasy, Italian goods. Gotta love my pastas though.
Goodness, I'm slave to the entire grain section of
the former food pyramid.

fara7 - Mail me the goodness of Lebanon! ;__;

But who....are you?

Canada - We are famous for maple syrup and these certain chocolates that I forget what they are called. xD Also in French Canada we have crepes (very thin pancakes that can be served with ice cream and strawberries. They are VERY good! ^_^)

I'll go with my culture, rather than my country...

Polish food! My favorite is sauerkraut with pork, pepper, and other such extra ingredients. You can basically add anything to sauerkraut and call it 'bigos' (known in English as 'Hunter's stew'). Otherwise, there's also crepes (yeah okay they're French in origin as well, I suppose) and perogi (which are basically dumplings, filled with whatever you want; I prefer fruit filling, but there's also mushroom, meat, and cheese fillings).

As for hometown food... well, I live in a large and culturally diverse city, so there's basically every variety of cuisine available.

I was in Poland this spring! ^^

I'm Norwegian!
Our national food is:
Raspaball (Potatoes boiled in together with some other ingredients..)
Lapskaus (meat, potatoes, vegetables and stuff.. all together^^)
Grøt / Groet ( purridge..)

And then there's the worst one:
Smalahovud (sheep brain.. yuck..)
