I will assist you as such.
1. It has been 56 years ago since he last did/play animation/anime(but that's a lie)...... 2. ロジャース is a discount store that sells supermarket goods......bought Coke at Rogers for 65 yen a bottle..... 3. "IN" here means hand in, submit. 4. "Hade" here could mean elaborate, showy(show off). With that, you should be able to make it out yourself. |

My guess isn`t 56, but 5, 6 (like 5 or 6). It would make much more sense in the context. About 5 or 6 years makes sense, but about 56 years sounds strange.
So, "It had been about 5 or 6 years since doing animation, so I was a bit hesitant." (substitute he for I if they`re talking about someone else.) Second one is "Delivered a dozen 65yen cans of Coca Cola bought at Rogers to Tokuhiro Matsubara in the staff room." The IN can mean hand in, or it can also mean started. Depends on the context, and I can`t tell from that one sentence. |

Then again, like Nyororin said, there could be a typo error with a missing coma for the 5,6 instead of 56. |

when I saw I thought he said: "I stayed a bit confused because I've not been working with animations since 56 years ago."
But he would need to be a mummy. Like you said, I think it's a typesetting error. Once more, thank you very much, you and Nyororin. |
