My name is Benjamin and I already used a translator I found. My name in Japanese is Benzeimin. Nicholas is Nichorasu, and Samantha is Semansa. I translated these for my best friend and little sister.

It depends on how you pronounce it. I'd write リーや intead. A Japanese would pronounce this one "Riiya", the one you mentioned (リャ) "Rya". The pronounciation is slightly different.

Some more names:

Louise --> ルイス　"Ruisu"

Leena -->　リーナ "Riina"

Has anybody tried using Kanji to write their names? I tried doing my real name in Kanji the other day and found it to be somewhat frustrating due to the number of possibilities for each syllable. In the end, though, it was pretty fun ^_^ .
