because im very very interested and i have only like 6 months to learn the language. ill be applying for komiket in august and if i cant get the laguage down them im totally screwed

Japanese? In six months? Writing up to some basic kanji should be no problem. Grammar, on the other hand, will take longer.

thats true. anyways i have six months. ill be able to make significant progress in that time frame. at least enough so i dont go saying things like yamaguchi desu ka kawaii. lol i probably would say something like that. i just jinxed myself

With that kind of time frame, I would make sure I spend at least as much, if not more, time learning vocab over writing. Writing is easy to learn on your own, but it really isn't a necessary in terms of asking where the bathroom is or how to buy a train ticket.

ya. im learning Grammar right now. thats my main priority. i made kanji and kana flash cards for when im not studying grammar.
