Some help with a quote.. - 01-20-2008, 01:58 AM

Final Fantasy IX Message Board - Final Fantasy IX Forum - Final Fantasy IX Discussion

I asked for the japanese version of a quote in the link above, and someone responded with: "Ikiteiru tte koto shoumei dekinakereba, shinde shimatteiru no to onajina no kana..."

translating to: "If I can't prove that I'm alive, I wonder if it's the same thing as being dead..."

Can someone confirm that "Ikiteiru tte koto shoumei dekinakereba, shinde shimatteiru no to onajina no kana..." is gramatically correct? Also, can someone put it in kana/kanji for me? thanks x)

Ikiteiru tte koto shoumei dekinakereba, shinde shimatteiru no to onajina no kana...

生きているって事、証明をできなければ、死んでしまっ ているのと同じなのかな。。。

Slight correction (mainly in the placement of the を):

「生きているって事を証明できなければ死んでしまって いるのと同じなのかな…」

And yes, this is grammatically correct, although I'm not sure if it's the exact quote or not (it appears in a few different forms online).
