Learing Japanese - 01-23-2008, 10:26 PM

Although I really apreciate all the help people have put into making a bunch of threads on learning Japanese, they have not been helpful what so ever and since I want to go to Japan, learning Japanese is the only option.

Can any one help?

I don't understand. You've looked at all of the threads on this forum (including this one) and they "haven't been helpful whatsoever?"

I think what you need is a healthy amount of "hard work." You can't learn Japanese by sitting and waiting for it to magically jump into your brain when you find the right website.

It may seem like I have not ried at all to you but I really have. I want to learn japanese and have tried several soureces. in fact, one of the main reasons i siged up here was to learn japanese. My problem is that I can learn it really quickly but forget it the very next day when I am talking to a Japanese person.

You'll have to take it slowly. Rome wasnt built in a day. You have to learn it part by part, starting with Hiragana and Katakana.
