About Japanese language - 03-03-2008, 01:26 PM

Hi there, I want know about the Japanese language in gentlement and lady. I know gentlement call like example Hiro-san. "San" is called about a boy, men or gentlement.

So, I want to know about how to called lady in Japanese, can't give some idea??

So in other words, you want to know of honorifics?

San is pretty much used by everyone, or can be used by everyone, male and female, young and old. It's polite and nice to use if you don't know a person on a personal level...or either the person is just very polite in general. A person referring to a woman can use "san" too.

"san" is used for both men and women.
