Help with a short sentence translation!

I could use some assistance from someone who knows their Japanese. This needs to be translated:

>Sofuto boru no chiimu wa jyeshii fuirudode sofuto boru o suru.

All I know is that it's talking about a softball team, and a jersey, and a field, then softball again. Help!

i think it is two sentences otherwise it doesn't make grammatical sense the second says play softball on the field (makes sense). The first one says soft ball team is jersey(but not in correct grammar)...... basically it doesn't make sense to me but maybe I'm wrong

where did you get this sentence from?

it is one sentence.
It says:
The Softball Team plays softball at the ?Jersey? (jyeshii) field.

james, break it down like this:
subject: Sofuto boru no chiimu
location:jyeshii fuirudo
action:sofuto boru o suru

Sofuto boru no chiimu wa jyeshii fuirudode sofuto boru o suru

oh its talking about the place jersey........ its because i thought it meant jersey as in shirt :P so i tried breaking it down into two sentences :P

Actually I am mistaken, I didn't know the word and since you translated it as Jersey i followed your lead. but Jersey and a football jersey are spelt ジャージー

i believe it is Jessie Field as in a person's name. sometimes i hate figuring out what katakana is into english. it is easier going the other way, haha.

It's amazing how some people like to butcher our beautiful language. How could that be two sentences when it only has one subject and one verb?

Clue: The structurte of that sentence is "Subject + Place of Action + Acton".

no thought it was two sentences because i thought it meant jersey as in clothing lol.....
