Really easy translation! Help! - 04-17-2008, 11:26 PM

Could someone please translate this for me? I think I know what it means, but I don't recognize the BOLDED kanji, and it doesn't give me a very clear description in any online dictionaries.

Thanks!

The kanji is Japan. I'm quite certain. But I don't know very much. so, if I'm wrong, don't hit me?

Thank you.

I'm glad I wasn't wrong... although being wrong also helps with learning.

Actually, 行った is just read as 'itta'. The 'ki' you're thinking of is the okurigana that accompanies 行 when used in the polite present form . For more on that, try this -> Okurigana - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
