Guys, thanks very much for the comments! I'm up to twenty characters at the moment and it's going well. Will post up when again when I have the basic hirigana memorised.

Yes, I agree very readable.

Ku shouldn't be so rounded though as another poster pointed out.

Well, at this point can you give me few hints on mine too? Where I need to adjust more (I know HU looks very bad, it is really the hardest one to do). I didn't take time ti write, this is how I write when I do exercises, basically my regular handwriting.

It's not "hu", it's "fu"

It is actually neither one. The sound is a middle way, so according to what romaji style you use, you can use either hu or fu (that's what I have learnt). It is easier to teach the fu sound coz some people have problem in undertanding the "choked" sound which stands between hu and fu.
But I admit I am not good with romaji coz I never use it and never used it in the past, since day 1 of my Japanese learning I got rid of romaji. I have bought a grammar book recently, which I think it is very good, that uses only romaji. I am having trouble understanding even the easiest phrase coz I am not used to romaji at all hee hee.

You can draw ふ as a 3 with the the curve at the top smaller than the bottom, and two lines at the bottom right and left, both pointing away from each other and the character. Also, you forgot to write ん (n)

I wanted to start thread where I'd ask people to post their own text written in japanese..for practice. Seems it's (kinda) here already.
