Children's Books -
08-06-2008, 01:58 PM
Rather than resurrect a dead thread from 6 months ago where children's books were only barely half mentioned...
Can anyone recommend some traditional Japanese children's books? Please don't recommend a translated Dr. Seuss! Theres more to learn from a children's book than just vocabulary. A good children's book written by a native speaker will have examples of how to act in Japanese society - albeit at a very low level. But without that basic understanding where else is there to go? And if you don't think getting the book will be as simple as looking it up on Amazon, maybe you can point me to a site that offers it. Thanks |
