Five years and no progress? I wonder how you've been studying Japanese.

Change it up - 08-25-2008, 12:56 AM

cha1st,

You should have been changing something up about 4 years ago. Anyway, better late than never. Have you traveled to Japan? Living in country is the best way I think. Look into some study abroad opportunities--the Japan Foundation has some good opportunities.

In addition to taking language classes, I'm using this guy's method, attempting to learn a lot of vocabulary in a short amount of time:
How I passed the JLPT 2kyuu using SuperMemo | Nihongo Pera Pera (Fluent Japanese)

Give it a try. Maybe it'll work for you.

Once, I had biz with Japanese company. But now I did not contact them already. The guys from Mikado seed company. They visited us more than 6 yrs ago...... Since then, we did not contact with each other as that time internet was not so often in most region....

I think japanese is more difficult, the chinese grammar is quite simple, the japanese is a lot more complicated (so far I find it easy though). Chinese only has more characters, each with one only reading, japanese kanji may have more than one reading and meaning.
