What does this mean? - 08-26-2008, 11:30 AM

I got this comment on my tegaki blog, and since I'm only just beginning to learn Japanese it's quite hard for me to see what it means @3@ Does anybody know what it means? ^^

What are the last few characters? the ones that look a little like a T and a + I know the one after them is い but are the ones before it a Kanji? @3@

This is what I can make out:

はじめまして。がんばって??いっ

This is what it says:
はじめまして。がんばって下さいっ
The "下さい" is "kudasai" in romaji, and it means please
The "っ" shortens a sound, but in this case it kinda does the same job as an exclamation mark (!)

Ahhh! Thank you! I understand now! I think it's just a little hard to see since it's hand written and I've been used to text. n_n!

はじめまして。

がんばって下さいっ!!

is a kanji that is read 'kuda' here. The small tsu at the end is often used in casual writing among young people.

EDIT: Emi-chan beat me to it...
