Hello,
I sent an E-Mail to my teacher and he replied, but I can not really read his response I mean, I think I might have got it, but not sure. Can someone help me? Thank you! どういたしまして また あした ね I think it means... You're welcome, also tomorrow, isn't it? That doesn't make sense though haha. Am I even close? --------------------------------------------------------- _.-~{Learn how to read/write Hiragana!}~-._ _.-~{Learn how to read/write Japanese characters on your Windows XP PC!}~-._ |

Thank you I am curios, he left out the pronoun, so where is "see"? I can find "tomorrow", and "you're welcome", but not anything else I am lost

Um he did it so it is easier for me to read it and learn. But he not a native speaker though, he has been learning it for 8 years so far, and started teaching 2 years ago though.

"see" isnt mentioned its just how its translated. to translate it literally its more like "your welcome, tomorow yeah?" but people don't say that in english hence see you is applied
8 years? wow. Maybe hes on JF? |

どういたしまして また あした ね
Can we break it down? どういたしまして = You're welcome (obvious) また = Also/again from my dictionary, how where does this come in? あした = Tomorrow (another obvious one) ね = sensei said it seeked agreement So how does it all fit into see you? Thank you very much, my head just is still hooked to English. --------------------------------------------------------- _.-~{Learn how to read/write Hiragana!}~-._ _.-~{Learn how to read/write Japanese characters on your Windows XP PC!}~-._ |
