You don't have a name in Japanese.

You have an American name, and you can say it very crudely in Japanese. It sounds about as cool as "Herro, I rooove tea!"

If a Japanese person said your name, it would sound something like マイラズ - mairazu. Sounds pretty dumb though :/

Truth. You can't have a Japanese name unless your were born with it or changed it. It's just the way you spell it in katakana, which is limited in sounds...so you end up with something just close to your original name. Katakana is the alphabet used for foreign words, simply put.

I think what the title of this thread should be is: "How native Japanese people say your name if they haven't practiced any English" Would be more accurate...hahaha.

Whoops. I actually meant ナ at the end no ア. So it would be アドリアンナ. But like I wrote, it's just from that translation site. No guarantee.
