Talk'n In Romaji - 01-04-2009, 02:55 AM

Hey everyone! This is a thread for beginner Japanese learners to talk in either Romaji or Kana. What I mean by that is that you can write in Romaji if you don't know how to write in/read Kana or you can write in Kana if you know how to read/write it. Also if you can please provide an English translation under the Kana for the people who can't read it. So...just talk about anything here from Apa-to's to nattou!

I don't like this idea. It makes peope rely on romaji too much O.O

Japanese isn't hard to get on your computer - it's already there, you just have to set it up =P

I don't like this idea either. I'm trying to learn/memorize kanji, etc., whenever I can. and test myself to see if I recognize any kanji/letters/words.

Kanji is probably the most hardest thing to learn. Thousands of kanji to remember just to read the paper.

Then make this a kana thread, perhaps? So people learning kana can use and read it?

That's a good compromise.
