I need a letter translated into Japanese! URGENT!!! -

I need to get a letter to my host sister who lives in Japan. I need it translated please! My computer can understand Japanese Kanji, Hirigana and Katakana, so please feel free to type this out. I can write in Kanji and so on well, I took a few classes in Japan, so don't worry, I'll be able to write this out. Sadly, I cannot speak Japanese, so I need this to be translated. (online translators like babelfish and so on aren't that great @__@)

LETTER Dear Tomoko, I am very sorry that I have not written sooner, I know that almost a year has gone by. My life has been full of busy events and the likes, but I do have something good to announce. Two new members have been introduced into my family. Dolce is a Shih Tzu puppy. He is very funny when it comes to his playful antics. Trigger is my horse. I bought him in early October. He is the colour of the sun, and I know you would like him very much. The semester is almost over school, so I am happy to be beginning a new term with new classes. School is going quite well at the moment. How is your new high school? There is a girl in my art class name Jess. She is from Hong Kong. She is friends with Hideko who is from Japan, she reminds me of you. God, I miss your family so much. It has been raining here a lot. Luckily on Christmas we got some snow, which is very rare in Sooke, especially on Christmas! It's funny how sometimes I wake up in the morning, wishing for your mother's cooking. Tell her that her meals brought my stomach great joy. Also, please thank Shouko for being such a good translator. I don't think O would be able to get by without her excellent translation skills. And Tomoko, thank you, I truly mean it. Without your help, I wouldn't be able to understand a word. Please say hello to Miku and Hikari for me, I miss them! With love, Alex. P.S. Sorry, but for text of that volume, you're probably not going to get free help on a forum. Try looking for a professional translator, and be prepared to pay for their services.

I think the recipient of the letter will be a lot more impressed and pleased with a letter written entirely by you - even if it`s full of mistakes - than one translated perfectly by someone else.

Barring my response, this thread has perfectly demonstrated all the most likely archetypal answers to the request:
1) Get it professionally translated. Gonna cost ya...big! 2) Write it yourself, it's more "you" that way 3) Letter translated as requested, by a native Japanese speaker Quite the perfect storm thread, I'm thinking... As for the English text of the letter: "I don't think O would be able to get by..." - Unless there is some in-joke concerning a person named "O", I think this is "I" typoed, going from the context and the close proximity of O to I on the keyboard *looks up at Yuri's post* Yeah...O is supposed to be I. It's a mistyped word. "I am holding up a job now..." - this brings to mind (for me at least) the video of "Ich Will" by Rammstein, where the band are portrayed as bank robbers holding up a bank. I believe it should either be "holding down a job", or even simply "I have a job now". Just my opinions. Unfortunately for you, she is not here. "Ride for ruin, and the world ended!"
