Very quick question re ＿に＿てあげる。

I would like to say I wrote articles for a website.

ウェッブサイトに記事を書いてあげました。doesn't seem right.

ウェッブサイトの記事を書きました。is okay but it doesn't really get across the feeling of contributing to something.

Please let me know what you think.

The thing is that both sentences are correct but neither says what you want to say. What you want to say would be something like:

ウェブサイトに載（の）せるための記事を書きました。 　載せる = to publish (an article) in (newspaper, magazine, website, etc.)

Your first sentence means "I wrote articles on the website for someone." Verb + あげる　= to do something for someone.

Your second sentence means "I wrote aticles about the website."

Thank you Nagoyankee! I come and lurk now and then but haven't had much to talk about.

I have a job interview in a couple of days and am not sure whether or not it will be mostly English or Japanese so am writing up practice answers to be prepared.

They're also going to give me a writing test, no idea what that will be like, but I'm allowed my 電子辞書 so should do okay.
