Ok. I'll give you examples of each one
Hiragana: ひらがな
Full-Width　Katakana: カタカナ
Full-Width Alphanumeric: Ａｌｐｈａｎｕｍｅｒｉｃ
Half-Width Katakana: ｶﾀｶﾅ
Half-Width Alphanumeric: Alphanumeric
Direct Input: Direct input

Yeah, but what do 'full width" and "half width" mean?

Nothing, it just changes how wide the characters are. I use full-width all of the time.

I'm not sure but coud you change the path to the standard dictionary?

Yuppiii!!! Fixed the problam by re-installing Japanese and no selecting the Unicode Language option.
