Where are you buying it from? Shipping from Japan to the US, e.g., is very expensive. I tried to buy a Japanese Harry Potter book via Amazon one time a few years ago and shipping was about USD 20 or more. I don't really recall exactly how much, but it was more expensive than the book.

Why you have to talk without knowing what you are talking about???
Sasuga sells from USA and expedition is according to USPS's rates. Sometimes they even offer special offers where if you reach a certain amount in books, expedition is free.
If the book you want is out of stock they import it from Japan and send it to you AT NO ADDITIONAL COST! just the wait will be a little bit longer of course.

Dark I just went to the home page of Sasuga and it says they have an offer going on now: buy for $40 and get free shipping (that's why I end up buying always many more books that I really want LOL).

I picked up some Doraemon, a Sanrio magazine with kids' puzzles in it, a San-X magazine which is much the same (both seem geared toward kids' learning, so excellent for purpose). I also got a (very) few children's books. I'll photo and upload later when I've finished unpacking
