Since 「それじゃ今日で一応　お世話になりましたって　こと で」 isn't translatable I guess I'll go loose; "Well, I suppose I won't see you much after today. Thank you so much for all your help"

Could you help me with 2 phrases?
1 - (...) 怪力自慢の偉才夫 。 Can I just ignore this 夫 here?
2 - 国が勝てると思ったので王に従うというキツネのように狡猾で現実 主義者。
Summarizing: "A man so perfidious and pragmatic as a fox, follows the king because he thinks [his] country is able to win [the war]". Is it close to correct?

1. Yes. I don't know why the 夫 is there to begin with.

2. Good. It's a relative clause but you translated it as if it were a sentence.

"A man so perfidious and pragmatic as a fox, follows ~~~" >>>> "A man so perfidious and pragmatic as a fox who follows ~~~"

Just take a page out of the Pevear/Volokhonsky translation of War and Peace, and translate the Russian to English, but leave the French intact.

Similarly, translate the Japanese to English, but leave the Classical Chinese intact. It actually degrades the experience to translate it, because no longer will the viewer perceive the anime the way it was meant to be seen.

Hmm...yeah, good point. The only downside is that no one'll really know what it means, but I could somewhat fix that with a Translation Note.

2. I just figured that it was important to what was going on, so I thought a translation would be needed. Though, you do have a point, as does KyleGoetz, about the presentation, and how the people watching it originally didn't have any idea about it either, which I probably should've considered. Like I said, I'll give using a Translation Note a shot to cover it.

And thanks--I really do appreciate you answering this stuff. I just hope she doesn't use more of this Classical Chinese while she's around for the next four or so episodes, haha.

I don't know if it is used in Japanese language, Masaegu先生, but when I was reading "with my native language" I just thought about an ellipsis of subject in: (...) pragmatic as a fox, [he] follows...

Not sure you can call it Platonic. It means that you secretly love Lyn and Lyn may or may not be aware of it.

I believe that is 偉丈夫. not 偉才夫.

Makes sense though 怪力自慢の偉丈夫 sounds pretty wordy.
