There are two questions I'd like to ask today.

自機は、Ｄボタンを押す事で機体の瞬発力を活かした様々な行動を取れるようになっていきます。その場合に必要となるのが『ブースター』と呼ばれるものです。
1. Does 活かす mean "to make use of sth" here?
2. 行動を取る means "to perform an action", correct?

Hi there!! I'm new here.

I have a message i am getting on a game that i imported from Japan on my psp system and i have no idea what its saying but it wont let me go past this point that i am at once i see this message. I was hoping someone could help translate what this is saying....

サーチダッシュはブースターを１消費する事で出せる特殊なダッシュです。
I'm not very sure about this, but does 出す mean "to make sth happen" in the sentence above?

Yeah. To make something appear or to activate something.
