Hello,

Easy question for today if someone could help me out.

It looks dangerous
危なさそうです OR 危なそうです and why/what do they each mean?

I heard it was dangerous
危ないそうです

I does not look dangerous
危なくなさそうです

I heard it was not dangerous
危なくないそうです

I did not hear it was dangerous
危ないそうじゃないです

It's been a while since I tried to write out an answer to a Japanese question so I hope I don't make any mistakes...
I'm sure I will be corrected if I am wrong though

If you want to say something looks dangerous, you should use 危なそう
This is because なさそう is used for negatives, for example 危なくなさそう
The exception to this is the adjective いい
When saying something looks いい, the いい must change to よい and then to よさそう

I found this question on 知恵袋 which goes more in depth on the subject in case you are interested:
どちらが正しいと思われますか?? 「〜なそう・〜なさそう」の使い分けについてで... - Yahoo!知恵袋

I haven't heard or read this myself so I don't know if people would actually say ~そうじゃない like this.
But the first thing I thought of when I read "Did not hear" was ~聞いてなかった or ~聞いてない depending on the tense of your sentence.
For example: 雨が降るなんて聞いてなかった

Hopefully my post helps you.
I'm sure if I made any mistakes somebody will point them out.

Thanks Yuriyuri.

I asked about the first one because I have seen 危なさそう before and wasn't sure if it actually means something? It turns up over 300k results on Google, maybe it is just a typo or just an abbreviated way?

Sorry I'm so late! Heres my attempt, if you need my to match it line by line feel free to let me know please!

The limits of a telephone become a little more unkind.
But there is secret seriousness in the voice.
Do you want to say I love you?
You do not give me an answer.
The feathers of happiness gently swoop above my heart
I want to hug these warm feelings.
I understand this conversation wrapped gently in these fingertips.
I look across the street, gripping these feelings in my fingers.
I look up at the tall image behind me,
Pain stirs up in my chest (T.T)
Gently feathers of happiness swoop down on our time (together?)
By loving My heart begins to mummur?
Don't look at me so suddenly? Right now?
Did you hear me?(?)
One day we'll look at this situation
And the feelings of two people will be known?
Until that day . . I wonn't let these feathers go.
And I'll have these same feelings!
It has always been this mother?

This is a really bad attempt, sorry, help is much appreciated!!

Never mnd, Someone corrected me, ignore/delete this post. I apologize for the inconvience this may have caused . . .

My Life Sucks- The kids I babysit have drooled, ripped or drawn on all of the cards and put the cars with the little people in the microwave!

I have no Friends- The cats have scratched and destroyed all of the DVDs!

I always owe someone- In fact I put two os in it!

I always ruin my clothes with Bleach!- The show is so dom suspensful I spill my grape soda on them!

But . . .I'll live.

I am pretty sure I hear 「危なさそう」 more often than 「危なそう」 around me in Tokyo, but I am also certain that grammarians would only consider the latter to be correct. I actually use the former myself in conversation if not in writing.

「危ないそうじゃないです。」 is grammatically correct but it sounds very unnatural. We would prefer saying 「危なくはないそうです。」. The comparative particle 「は」 can be dropped.

I know the meaning of each word, but I don't get the structure of this line. Can someone tell me what its meaning might be?
I may be late to the party but:

「~~をいいことにXXX」 = "taking advantage of ~~ to do XXX"

Many thanks again masaegu. Having confirmation from a native speaker is always better than just guessing it myself

I also have some questions for today.

1. http://i.imgur.com/BXGPf.jpg
現実から電脳に変換中。なう。
Can you please tell me what なう means here?

2. http://i.imgur.com/4vscG.jpg
空気みてェにムシしやがった
What is the dictionary form of the verb here? And what does it mean?

3. http://i.imgur.com/tI1Kb.jpg
What does 後になる mean in this case? Does it mean "to get left behind"?

4. http://i.imgur.com/w96se.jpg
The word 谷 has been bugging me for a while. Is it a unit of the Japanese addressing system?

5. http://i.imgur.com/uD4UW.jpg
a/ Can you tell me what the site note says? I don't really get it, especialy ならず.
b/ Is タチ just the pluralizing suffix? Or does it has another meaning here?

1. "Now".

2. It is already in the dictionary form. 「する」 + 「やがる」 = 「しやがる」
「やがる」 is an auxiliary verb used to describe another person's action with hatred.

3. It means "I always (regret) when it's too late." The "regret" part is left unsaid; therefore, there is 「・・・・・」.

4. No. You are reading too much into this. 四谷(よつや) is just the name of an area in Tokyo. You probably got confused because it has a number in it.

5a. 「ならず」 is a literary way of saying 「ならない」.
If 孔明 is the guy's name, it means:
"Volume: The World of Encounters for Koumei. No, not quite."

5b. No. Notice it is added to a verb, not a noun.
It means "one's innate character".

Thanks again masaegu There's a few questions I would like to add today.

1. http://imgur.com/OfJq7.jpg
What is it before the word くらい? Is it "km"?

2. http://i.imgur.com/y44QQ.png
I'm trying to read the first message, but I'm not sure if I read it correctly since some Kanji are too difficult to recognize. Would you mind checking this?

それにしても中華の著作権はフリーダムすぐるなwww誰が 文__帯つけてんのコレ?まあ楽しかったからいいけ

I'm pretty sure about my typing for the first part and the last part, but I don't get the meaning of 中華の著作権はフリーダムすぐるな at all. Can you tell me what it means?

1. Yes, it is "km".

2. It says:
それにしても中華の著作権はフリーダムすぐるなwww 誰が 字幕つけてんのコレ?まあ楽しかったからいいけど

「中華の著作権はフリーダムすぐるな 」 is NOT normal Japanese but it would mean:

"Copyrights in China are just out of control."
