Yes, I know all that. Did you know that what you said is also 100% true of English? Compare capital letters, lowercase letters, cursive handwriting based on the preceding and succeeding letter, etc.

Arabic and Hebrew writing systems are still easier to learn than Japanese or Chinese. Anyone who says otherwise is ignorant.
