Hi, the other day i bought a wooden item, which i have no idea what it is but it has a dolphin on it and a symbol for the sea, it's quite old and it has some lettering on the side but i dont know what language it is, can anyone identify the three letters?

I don't think it'd be Chinese, because isn't their writing system essentially the same as Japanese, minus the kanas? I agree it could be Vietenamese or Korean though, I'd be personally inclined to say Korean, but I'm no expert so I'm probably wrong, lol.

It's not Greek, Chinese or Japanese. It's obviously not Latin. It's not "mushed together" enough to be Arabic, I'm also pretty sure it's not the "alphabet" from Sanskrit, Hindi, etc. (whatever it's called) or Thai.
I'm not an expert in these matters, but I haven't seen anything like this at all, are you sure they're actually letters? Any clue at all where the symbols are from? |

This is certainly not Chinese, traditional or simplified.

If you have not got it yet by now. I think the answer to your question is NO.
