Im Learning and I need some help...

I have two books, very informational. Shows how to pronounce words, but both don't show any information on the symbols. Can someone recommend me a site that converts the Japanese English symbols, int the Japanese symbols.

Windows, Linux, and OSX all have this built in. One of the very first threads on the front page explains this.
