Hi, I have a question regarding the following phrases and that is if it is possible to omit the words in bold?
手荷物の重さを量る weigh baggage 積み荷の重さを量る weigh a cargo 自分の体重を量る weigh self 失敗をしない人間はいない。 いるのは失敗から立ち直れない奴と 立ち直れる奴だ。 |

That's the danger of googling phrases when one doesn't speak/write/read at a near-native level. The phrase itself may be common but it sure is VERY uncommon to use it to mean "weighing oneself". It means "to measure one's mental strengh".
