learning time - 04-14-2011, 04:19 AM

hello, i just started learning japanese about a week ago. and just was going over time like one o'clock is 一時 but is that for both am and pm or no?

and sorry i said the wrong thing for the topic. i am very sorry

It means either am or pm. To be more specific (if you can't tell from context), 午後1時 = 1 pm
午前1時 = 1 am

hi I am also learning japanese language, but it is very difficult to learn japanese. May I know your technique for learning japanese language.

I attended university in the US, majored in Japanese, attended university in Japan, and flashcarded kanji and vocab on my own since then from the book Kanji in Context.

Anything else I've done is beyond where you are now and won't be helpful.
