minna no nihongo 2 - 06-11-2011, 06:46 PM

Hey guys. Apart from 3 grammar points left, I've completed by N5 studies by using resources online. But it's getting harder and harder to find reliable grammar sources for the JLPTs online now, so I'm going to have to cave in and buy a textbook. I've heard good things about Minna no Nihongo and from what I hear a lot of college courses in Japan use them, so I'm pretty set on that's the one I'm choosing for my N4 studies.

I know I need Minna no Nihongo 2, but there seems to be 4 books I need, and they're pretty expensive. Would it be alright for me to just use online resources for Kanji and grammar and buy only the translation and grammatical notes?

Thanks in advance.

I've already seen these sites, and although I think they're good resources, the lessons aren't as detailed as I'm looking for. I'm just wanting to know if the Minna no Nihongo 2 translation and grammar notes are sufficient enough to learn the grammar.
