I hope so! I put some time into it, because some stuff like なかなか totally throws me still >.<

That man/heart sentence was tricky, too. Ah you know, learning a language (even your own) is an endless task.

btw. i still can't explain. but when is this connected to like questions?
it was something to do with...
子供はいませんか。
いいえ。います

はい。いません。
じゃない uses the negative of the verb ある. It never goes in place of いる. (well, there are weird exceptions like how タクシー could be used with いる or ある, but that's beyond the scope of where you are right now).

Think of じゃん/じゃない in the affirmative sense to be similar to ね (the sentence-ending particle).

バナナ(を)持って(い)るね You have a banana, right?
バナナ(を)持って(い)るじゃん! You have a banana, dontcha?

It's true. All too often I understand the sentient or the meaning, but how to put it in English evades me.

if the sentences had ended with ね i would have been far more easier.

btw. my examples where made for the case when some questions are asked in negative.
バナナがありませんか。
いえ。あります
はい。ありません。
well. in my language this sounds a bit weird. we normally say
バナナがありませんか。
いえ。ありません。
はい。あります。
but that is another story.
dunno why but i had problems remembering this.

In English it's the opposite of Japanese, too, but you get used to it after a while.

I won`t be answering the quiz - but wanted to comment on this;

You might want to look into who founded Tokyo(Edo), and where all the people they brought with them were from.

In 三河弁, the use is a lot heavier. It comes in double sets of ん endings, like わからんじゃん, おらんじゃん, etc. じゃんか, じゃんね, and じゃんな are also pretty common.
I almost never heard a ない ending in casual speech until I moved. It was all ん.

Only one of my friends, who`d moved there from elsewhere used the んない pattern. (Like わかんない) It really stood out.

If anyone is trying to find me… Tamyuun on Instagram is probably the easiest.
