To be honest, I only shopped at one 7-11 and that one was in the Shinagawa Prince Hotel complex. It was always crowded and that is perhaps why they had them by the entrance for the customers to use. I mostly frequented Family Marts and Lawson stores. Even though they are very clean and very different from those in the US, 7-elevens, to me, have a negative connotation...
