Hi masaegu, so does that mean that I can't say "コンピュータに情報を入力する。"?

You can say it. I said no because you had asked if that was the only meaning.

I'm having trouble with some phrases I caught while reading text in a game, so here come my questions for today.

1/ Does 外せない用事 mean something that must be done?

2/ How do you read 聖乙女? Is it せいおとめ?

3/ When talking about a person, does ネジが緩い mean "to have a screw loose in one's head"?

There's also text from a manga that I'm not really sure about :

なんてことだ…もう…人の言葉ですらない…
Am I right to assume that もう人の言葉ですらない means "she doesn't sound like human anymore"?

5/ 力が湧いてくる!いける!!
By the first line, does the speaker mean "power is surging inside me"?

6/ http://i.imgur.com/bXC8V.jpg
でもこの調子ならいつもの力押しでイケそうだなぁ…
For this line, I'm going to try a translation.

But with this condition, using brute force like usual might work...
7/ a/ ええ、あの子の想いを支える大事な要素、それは――わ がまま
b/ 復讐のために生きるのはこの人の勝手だ。でもそれで家 族が不幸になるなんてボクは嫌だ。だからボクは親子で 普通に暮らしたいっていう ささやかな願いを無視させるくだらない想いの塊を…吹 き飛ばさないと気が済まないんだ!
I have seen the word 想い used regularly in manga, but the word has so many definitions in dictionaries that I'm confused. Can someone tell me what its meaning might be in a and b?

1. Exactly.

2. Hard to say because it is a proper noun. It would be either ひじりおとめ or せいおとめ.

3. Right. It is a nicer way of saying "dumb".

4. Precisely.

5. Exactly.

6. Whether "brute" is a good word or not would depend on the context, but I can say that you are on the right track. Without context, i would settle for something like "my usual power play".

7a. I am thinking of "attachment" but the context might prove it wrong.

7b. "Desire" of the selfish kind.

So it was a difficult word just as I expected. Would the context below make it clearer?

I'm thinking of "desire", but it's better to check if I really get the word if I have your opinion.
=========
I'm adding my questions for today.

1. http://i.imgur.com/PNP15.jpg
Given the context, does 自分が認められなかったことへの怒り mean "the wrath of being unacknowledged"?

http://i.imgur.com/if9aR.jpg
2. I'm literally guessing the meaning of some phrases. Some advices would be awesome
Code:
a/ 心を塗りつしてくる means that the mind is being filled with negative emotions b/ 奪った者への憎しみ the hatred towards the snatchers c/ 認められない苦しみ the anguish of being unacknowledged d/ 誰とも話せない疎外感 the feeling of being alienated, couldn't get to speak with anyone
Did I make any mistake?

3. Also, does 想い in the context mean "emotions"?

4. Does 心に錘がぶらさがって mean that all the 憎しみ, 苦しみ, 疎外感 are putting heavy "weight" on the character's mind?

5. http://i.imgur.com/5l6nY.jpg
Finally, can you tell me what 心を奮わせ救う means in this context?

"Desire" would be an excellent choice. I was imagining the phrase being used regarding a romantic relationship when I said what I said.

___________

1. Looks okay though I do not have much context.

2. Good except for d. The original phrase is a relative clause but your TL does not read like one.

"The sense of alienation that I could not speak to anyone about."

3. I would tend to think so. However, it is fairly clear to me that this word is used for a particular meaning in this story, which I think is why the author wants to put it in quotation marks. Not knowing the story, I just could not be 100% on this.

4. Precisely.

5. "I summoned up my courage and thought about the people I had to save."

Thank you. I think I now have enough information to understand its connotation in the context.

Thanks again for the correction. I definitely need to be more careful with sentence structures.
