I hadn't noticed that before but it is the sort of thing that I'm likely to find amusing too so no problems here.

sorry for that.. hmn.. it's kinda hard just to study using books, sometimes some words and grammar there are not used by native japanese..

Can somebody help me please with the translation from my first name?

I like to write my name `" Yancy" in japanese. and i like to make a necklace from it that's why i want to translate it. Can somebody who is from japan please send my the real translation of my name. thank you very much.

It is: ヤンシー (yanshii)
pronounced similar to the "yon" in "yonder" and "she" in "she is a girl."

Also, you don't usually "translate" names. You "transliterate" them. ヤンシー doesn't mean anything other than "Yancy."
