Need Help with this greeting, just a simple question -

Alrighty, we have an oral quiz tomorrow and basically we have to introduce ourselves in front of the entire class like its our 1st time. I have the format and pronunciations but I was wondering if I have to keep adding "desu" after every phrase.
Example Hajimemashite, Roku desu. Watashi wa Amerikajin desu. Daigaku __ desu. Watashi wa (age desu. senkoo wa (major) desu....Dozo Yoroshiko Onegaishimas. Do I have to add desu so many times?

Hi,
It looks fine to me but as you pinted out, some peaple may think there are too much 'desu' or sentenses are too simple. You can change as follows; Watashi wa Amerikajin desu. => Watashi wa America kara kimashita. You can say like this if you speak outside of US. Daigaku __ desu. => __ Daigaku ni kayotte imasu. Watashi wa (age desu. senkoo wa (major) desu. => Watashi wa (age desu. __ (major) o senko shite imasu. Yoroshiko => typo? Yoroshiku Good luck! PINKY47
