Assistance with correct word format -
10-08-2017, 06:14 PM
Hello,
I need assistance with how to correctly format/translate something into Japanese. The word i want to translate is: "Shadow Wraith" This will be in reference to a dojo/mercenary group that goes by that title. I did some research on my own and found the closest in meaning and feel seems to be " Kage Ikiryo " It seems like some terms can be merged and when I merge " Kage Ikiryo " to " Kageikiryo " I get the feeling I'm doing it wrong. I considered " Ikisudama " that appears to be an archaic form of " Ikiryo " but that doesn't seem to fit or have the right feel to it. In the book the "Shadow Wraith" are a small secluded martial arts mercenary group. If anyone could assist i would appreciate it. I would prefer not to mangle the wording as there is a good chance this book will go into some sort of publication. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Tim |

I do not really understand what the WRAITH is. Is it a kind of ghost?
What kind of ghost is the wraith? We have many kind of ghost in Japan but I have no idea which ghost is correspond with the wraith. And what is "Shadow wraith"? Does it mean "Wraith of shadow" or "shadow of wraith"? I can not catch the relation of shadow and wraith. "生霊:いきりょう;IKIRYO" means living dead which is floating soul left from living human.
