hey you out there.
my japanese is pretty bad so i hope one of you may help me out.
i need a translation of the following sentence:

"if only tonight we could sleep"

it would be awesome if you could also tell me which hiragana and kanji to use.

Do you mean "I hope tonight we can sleep" or "I hope for this one night only, we can sleep"?

i think more like I hope for this one night only, we can sleep.

it's expressed like a wish...like "huh i wish we could sleep tonight" just more passionated

" if only..."

there's no need to express it that precisely but i'm quiet interested in how it would be a 100percent correct. do you think it's okey to ask masaegu as well??
i don't want to get on anybody's nervs but it's quiet important for me.

I would probably put it as:
今夜こそ眠ればいいのにな。
konya koso nemureba ii noni na.

i aked masaegu and he gave me the following sentence.

"Konya dake wa yukkuri nemuremasu you ni..."

my japanese is horrible but i tried to translate it word for word and i think it says exactly what i wanted to say.
