When looking up kanji, I like using Jim Breen's dictionary:
WWWJDIC: Multirad Kanji With a simple kanji like this one, just select the two radicals that compose it (one of them is 2 strokes, the other is 4) and type in the maximum stroke count as 6. Once you search and have the kanji selected, search for entries in the dictionary containing the kanji. These were among the results when I did a search: 交う 【かう】 (kau) to take turns; to mingle together 交える; 雑える 【まじえる】 (majieru) (1) to mix; to converse with; (2) to cross (swords) 交ざる; 混ざる; 雑ざる 【まざる】 (mazaru) to be mixed; to be blended with; to associate with; to mingle with; to join; 交じり; 混じり 【まじり】 (majiri) mixed; mingled; also, after 2 seconds of googling, the on-reading for 交 is こう (kou) and the kun-reading is まじ (maji) |
