strange kanji

Hi all!
Please, what this kanji: 々 stands for? i can't translate it.
I found it in the sentence: この世界の仲間達と過ごした人々に
Please don't tell me the translation of the whole sentence (I have to manage to translate it by myself)

What word does a native japanese use is not important here. For you to be asking this question, what you need to do first is to thoroughly learn up your japanese basics. Once you have done that, the answer will automatically be there.
