I totally agree with you on that: Grave of the Fireflies is just one of the saddest movie ever! I've seen it with the same girls that made me see Nada Sou Sou, and I must say that I cried for that one as well! It's so sad... but it was a good movie!

I like Saving Private Ryan because it features the song "Tu es partout" by Edith Piaf. It is very sad too.

my saddest movie i think was a million dollar baby...

it made me cry even after seeing it 4 times .. :'( has anyone seen it ??

it's really my fav. movie at all times !!

I'll be honest, I've not even heard of that movie, but when she (from the grave of the fireflies) wore that thing on her head she was so cute......, ****cries****

I have a laaaaaaarge collection of war movies =) They're my fave kind

Saving Private Ryan wasn't all that sad, I think in the end Matt Damon makes it home? Ahh my memory, I must find the time to re-watch it.

Actually, he ends up being brutally beaten up by some marine, or that's how I remember it. And do you really think the Americans would care for his life? If he survived, he probably was made a prisoner and never got to know his baby...
