American movies

Hi there!
I've tried to search the trailers of movies like eragon, lord of the rings... in japanese, I've also visited the official web-sites, but I found just english trailers with japanese subtitles..
That's because in Japan movies aren't translated but just seen subtitled? Or do exist american movies translated into japanese?

It's easier to subtitle movies than to dub every single one...
