Wat is your favourite j-drama movie that you have recently seen. For me it would have to be Itsuka no Kime e.

I really enjoyed Hula Girls...

I looks really stupid, but it is seriously one of the best movies ever.

Oh i saw that movie in a j film festival in my area. It was truley amazing. Im a 20 year old guy and it was ridiculously hard to hold tears in it some parts. its not sad, its just heart warming, you know? Its about two girls saving their city from becoming absolutely dirt poor by doing hula dancing at a new attraction in their city. they go against their parents will because they feel its whore-ish and demeaning. youtube it and you can buy it on ebay really cheap. I saw always sunset on third street also (always: sanchome no yuhi. I made a thread about it, but i guess no one has seen it. Its like the same type of movie as hula girls, like same genre because its also a heart warming movie.

someone made video clips and put it together here
YouTube - Always: San Chome no Yuhi (Sunset on Third Street) Tribute

i liked it better than hula girls. the cg is amazing and the story line is incredible

Swing Girls is one of my favorites at the moment. Not a great work of art, but an amusing diversion.

Good music ---- eventually, funny scenarios, and some good characterizations.

And there is Shinobi. Its a visual feast, though rather formulaic plot.

Nobody Knows is my favorite movie, any language, of all time. So emotional, I cry every time but I still love it so much.

Second place is Ping Pong. Great stuff.
