I have a feeling people may find Hollywood will do both a better and a worse job than was expected. Hopefully they'll make it in the areas that count.

So far I feel the actors can portray, at least in terms of image, the characters they've been casted for (and I'm stoked about Marsters), although I still don't get how they're going to pull off Justin Chatwin's hair. It looks so flat in every unedited picture I see of him.

I think the biggest shiztnitz I've heard so far is the completely absence of Krillin in the film. I agree with other people that he was an essential ingredient to the entire series. Hopefully, however, if these guys are writing the script and thinking in terms of sequels based on the movie's success, perhaps he will be introduced down the line, and with a more vital role than he might have had in this film. This Teto guy must be amazing if he was able to "replace" the character...

I was such a fan of the series back then, at least before it got to the Buu saga. That, coupled with Sailor Moon was my conversion to anime, and I only hope they don't blow it on this film.

Apparently it has a big budget too so no problems there.
I just don't like the fact that goku is a white guy >.> He should be Azn!

What, FUNimation? They're actually based in Fort Worth Texas and my ex girlfriend met all those stars and sent me some signatures . I'd of course much rather meet the original Japanese voice actors but since DBZ has one of the best English dubs ever, those actors would be a close second on my list.
