I've only watched one episode, but there's a drama called ProDai (I think that's the name, the video I was watching was entitled "Operation Love").

I can't find the other episodes, but the first one was awesomness

(YouTube "Operation Love" to find the first episode, though >_>)

some goods shows are:

Shojiki Shindoi

and

Shin Domoto Kyoudai

Shojiki shindoi is kind of a walk and talk show. the host Tsuyoshi walks around certain areas with a guest exploring places like Akihabara, disneyland japan, etc.

Shin domoto Kyoudai is a talk show interviewing celebraties. its hosts are kinki kids which also has Tsuyoshi in it.

Check out one of their shows at this link:

80% of Japanese involves food, an onsen, and travel. Search "Keyhole TV" to see Japanese TV. I like Samurai drama myself. The one where he shows his Sakura tattoo is cool.

Oshin. I have heard it is a bit sappy, don't know much about it, but you could try it. (I've never watched it.)

search. hard gay. watch. repeat.

But to despair was to wish back for something already lost.
Or to prolong what was already unbearable.

I'd have to agree with everyone when they mention CrunchyRoll. Its a good place for ALL kinds of Asian dramas, shows, animes, CV, etc...

But if you want good japanese shows, I recommend everything KimuTaku (Kimura Takuya) is in. He's one of the guys in SMAP.

Recommendations ("guy shows"): Engine, Beautiful Life, and my most favorite - PRIDE!!!
