Zac Efron doesn't look like Light at all.. Sure he might have a similar hairstyle or color or whatever, but what about his look and attitude in general? He doesn't really look very smart and evil to me. Disney has given him the total opposite impression. There is probably a more suitable actor out there for the role as Light, and if he really would get the role, maybe he's better then we thought. The only thing we can do is wait and see...

but isnt light supposed to have a fake personailty? he isnt exactly evil in front of L. he acts so innocent in front of them

An actor doesn't have to look fit for the role outside the actual film. That is why he is an actor, because he can fit many roles. If you saw Heath Ledger's previous films, would you think he would fit as Joker?
